Party: Create a Photo Shoot

Your guests will LOVE being in the spotlight as they pose for their very own glamour shots. Take photos together or individually, either way get creative and have fun!

What you’ll need:

  • - Large sheet of white fabric (try bed sheets or a tablecloth)
  • - Thumbtacks or Tape
  • - Adjustable Lighting (optional)
  • - Fun clothing, accessories and props (dresses, hats, sunglasses, boas, stuffed animals, dolls, flowers, etc.)

 

How to Do It:

  • 1. Before starting your photo shoot you’ll need to create your “studio”
  • 2. Find a flat wall to hang you backdrop from
  • 3. Using your thumbtacks/tape hang your fabric from the wall just so the fabric touches the floor
  • 4. To create an authentic photo shoot feel use adjustable lighting such as a flexible desk lamp to create just the right lighting for each shot
  • 5. Now that your studio is created you’ll need to provide the guests with all different accessories and props!
  • 6. Have girls dress up in their favorite clothes and fun accessories!
  • 7. Guests can take turns posing in front of the back drop for photos or gather together for a group shot!

    Tip: Get creative! Try different camera angles and lighting techniques for one of a kind photos!

     
    Ideas: To send guests home with their photos the day of the party purchase glossy photo paper and print them out before they leave. Or, prints can be purchased afterwards and sent to guests with thank you cards.
