Fashion, Moms, & Other Stuff (by Parker)

December 14, 2010

OK all you Parker fans! Here’s the latest & greatest entry from our youngest FashionPlaytes blogger to date. Enjoy!

Hey! I’m glad whoever is reading this & wanted to read my blog for a second time! This time, this entry is going to be mostly about fashion. I am going to tell you my three top favorite outfits, where I like to shop, and what my favorite winter fashions are - that are totally cute, but really warm!

I do have to say, I have a lot of favorite outfits. But, if I must narrow it down, it comes down to three. My absolute favorite is something that I call, “Fashionably Layered”: denim super-skinny jeans, tucked into buckled black knee-high boots, my FashionPlaytes blue tee-shirt with a awesome ying-yang symbol, with a cute yellow or green long and skinny cardigan, and a thick sparkly belt. A lot, right? :) I love this outfit because it keeps me warm in the winter and it is playful and full of color. Time for outfit number two… “The Stripe and The Plaid”: a brown mini skirt, with a belt with a buckle covered with tiny beige buttons, silly plaid tights, a plain pink or white long sleeve shirt, a ruffled at top-striped sweater, and black ballet flats. Finally, “The Hip-Rocker”. My petite Rock-and-Roll tee shirt, a boys black vest, knee high pink and blue striped socks, and short-short cargo shorts. I love these outfits because they all show my individuality and my fun reputation.

Where do I like to shop? Hmmm… There are a ton of places & it’s usually with my mom because she’s really fun to shop with! I really like shopping at Forever21, H&M, Gap, and FashionPlaytes, of course. Why? You might ask? I like Forever21 because it shows my rocker side. H&M brings out my classical, but fun side as well. Gap… I like their jeans! FashionPlaytes because I can design what I truly want to wear.

Some people asked me about winter fashions. This is a hard one. I know winter is a fun season, but it can be hard to stay cute, while staying warm. I decided to give some tips on how to do exactly that.

Tip One: LAYERS! Layer up as much as possible. Example, Top: tank top, long sleeve, cute cardigan, Bottom: tights or leggings with cute knee high socks with a skirt or skinny jeans with fun boots.

Tip Two: Scarves! Scarves are really fun and warm. There are so many different colors and styles that you can make them go with anything! You can use them as neck scarves, which keep you warm, headband scarf, which you can play around with, or as a belt a.k.a. FUN TIMES!!

Hope you liked reading these fun tips for winter and everyday fashion! See you soon!

Parker - thanks for letting us know where you shop. It is hard to find fun, cool fashions for the tween. Thanks for all your hand-me-downs. I LOVE THEM! I also have so much fun designing things at Fashion Playtes. The designs are super cool!
