Materials:
* Wooden stake (you can find one at a craft store), small wooden snowflake cut-outs (varying sizes)
* Blue, silver, & white craft paints, blue or silver glitter paints
* Glue, Tape measure, a pencil, & several paint brushes
**
Directions:
* Start by painting the wooden stake with 2 coats of blue paint (or white if you choose) & let dry
* Next, paint your snowflakes silver (or white) & let dry.
* For the larger snowflake at the top, use the blue glitter paint to make an outline along the outer & inner edges. Then use the silver/white glitter paint to fill in the inner part of the snowflake.
* For the smaller snowflakes, paint on some silver/white glitter paint.
* Using your tape measure & a pencil, mark out 1 inch increments on your wooden stake (starting at the bottom)! Retrace the lines & numbers with the white paint so that they really pop.
* Finally, glue the large snowflake to the top of the stick & the smaller snowflakes along the stick for decoration.
* Place outside & hope it snows!
