Throwback Thursday: JEM and the Holograms

I’m bringing it back old school today… Jem and the Holograms!

I used to watch this show every weekend! I absolutely loved it!

The show was about music company owner Jerrica Benton, her singer alter-ego Jem, her band the Holograms, and their adventures. What I LOVED about the show was that it was empowering… it showed me that I could be whatever I wanted to be. I had the power within myself to be anything.

And… who could forget that intro song!?
