It has been a long time since I have written my last post on blogging. I have been having so much fun with my blog! I have also learned some new things as well, so I thought I might need to update you with some of that stuff. I have also been getting many questions about how you can create your own blog, and I know I should answer that to help you out. Enjoy what I write, and let me know if you need anything else, have a comment, question, suggestion, or want to add anything to what I have said.

Five More Steps to Tween Blogging! (Tweens are ages 9-12. Oh, and this works for teens too!)

How to create a blog: Blogger is a great site to create a blog. That is where I created mine. If you need any help while creating yours, let me know.

Stay Safe: I have found that not all people will be kind to you when in the blogging business. That is why I have a “Comment Moderation” where I can decide whether or not to allow the comment to be published on my blog. For example, nice comments will be published, while mean and nasty ones will not.

Contests: I have had many contests on my blog already. But the thing is, prizes cost money. Be sure that before you have a contest that you talk to your parents and also be positive about how much money you want to spend on prizes. Don’t go broke by having a contest. And you can always ask for donations for a contest or talk to small companies and see if they would be interested in offering you some swag.

What should my blog look like? It can be like anything you want. But be sure to change the theme every now and then because having the same theme for a long period of time makes your blog seem boring. I change my theme once a month to give my blog some spice.

Pages on your blog: Add pages to your blog to make it more fun! I have tons and tons of pages, including quizzes, reviews, and much more! This makes it way more fun and exciting and people will keep coming back to your blog for more. Even ask your friends to send in some fun reviews and quizzes. You can’t do everything yourself or you will be too busy.

I hope you learned a little more about blogging, and I wish you the best of luck! xo Maddie
