Hi, It’s Chloe:) again! I am saving up my money to buy a laptop but I also need some new clothes. I don’t want to spend a ton of money so do you have any tips on where to get cute clothes for cheap or how to DIY old clothes?
Thanks,
Chloe:)

I know a place where you can go. Go to Marshalls.
I had old white shirt. Used glitter paint on it, little heavy but it was kinda cute
I like it
GO TO A SECOND HAND STORE AND IF YOU OR SOMEBODY YOU KNOW HOW TO SEW YOU CAN SEW IT IN TO SOMETHING COOL.
sorry for my stupid comment in the other one but I am me and I can not chance what I did is not good but I me and I happy about it
You could get some plain clothes ( something like white shirts) and make some designs and there are clothes.
first for getting cute stuff get it from target because most of my clothes from there and for DIYS go to you tube and go to macbarble 07 she has all thase videos
you can use a paint brush so you can make it perfect
Go to Childrens Place
Some Wal-marts
of course,i understand i have 2 sisters not much money in the savings LOL , did what i did get a bottle and save girl .
Rue21 (if in your area) has great clothes at an affordable price, they’re also having a Spring break sale where I got a blazer for $3.00.
Thrift stores and garage sales are great too as (almost) everyone has suggested.
I recommend Goodwill for pants and handbags, also some affordable accessories for the bedroom!
With Luck you’ll find something great.
Sincerely, Erin B.
if you know how to sew you could put cute printing on them and if you also know how to make your on cloths and have fabric make them (:
i think you should shop at walmart and just buy a few stuff.
Love it my friend said he can fit in it.
go to walmart and buy a t shirt in your fave color in one size larger than your size. also get a white spaghetti strap. use scissors to cut the t shirt 2 inches under your chest. cut styles or tye dye if wanted. put on tank and then the t shirt and it is finished!!!!!
I like forever 21 girls clothes there cheap and cute
well, you can make money by starting a simple buisness, ( duct tape making, bracelet making, etc.) I’ve also heard of this thing called twist bands thats making cute bracelets like out of rubber bands. Ppl buy those for ALOT these days. some ppl buy them for 10$! haha my friend made alot with selling those. Good stores include Target, old navy, Tillys ( in the clearence), and Goodwill. I wouldnt go to Walmart because their clothes arent the most fashionable things. Thats my opinion tho. DONT GO TO GIGIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! U could proabally buy a shirt and shorts there for like 100$!!!!! Follow theses tricks and u will be stylin and rich and u will have a labtop!!!!!!!!
Go to a goodwill store buy stuff that fits and you can sew patterns from your old clothes on to the good will ones
Re-do your old clothes, or add accessories. Or even better, with a parent’s permission, organize a clothing swap with your friends!
Should get ur lap top cause you can save more money for more clothes
I think that you should get a laptop first, that way you can disighn your own clothes at fp girl.com
yea.
Visit a second hand store. Go ahead, buy things that don’t fit. Don’t be afraid to go to the other sections such as men’s and babies’. Look for things that have nice patterns, or a shirt that has the perfect buttons. After you’ve found a few things, look for boring old cloths that fit, or if you have some of those at home, use those. You’ll be able to get about 5 things for about 15-20 dollars. When you get home, pull out some fabric glue and a hot glue gun. Cut out shapes and buttons from the patterned things, and use them to decorate the plain things. Be creative. You’ll have a masterpiece in no time.
Thank you guys so much for the great tips I will definitely use them!
if you know how to sew, you can buy some stuff at a garage or something and sew on or glue (with fabric glue) a really cool embellishment or animal print.
avoid stores with expensive stuff, or you’ll get attached and nothing will compare to it.
the cheapest place to go is goodwill! i got the cutest pants at goodwill and i were them all the time! btw everything their is a $1 - like $10 it is awesome
if you have old clothes that you cant wear theres this thing going on in once apon a child and they will buy the clothes from you
i think temple run 1 /2 will win
you should buy tye dye and dye old shirts.jeans? no problem cut themand now they are shorts.u could also learn how to do embrodeiry, knitiing an crochet so u could have a faboulous and unique clthing. i hope this helps i’m 12 years old too and i got the same problem
Ok, do NOT go to Justice, Forever21, or places like that — they charge to much! Now Walmart has really good prices, so that is one place to look! Belk has great prices too if you look on the sales rack (I bought a sweater for only $5.00!) So then you could go to a thrift store and buy things and make them look cute with sparkles and gems and more!
trygoing tosome thrift shops and garage sales a DIY for an old T-shirt is to take it and cutoff the bottom EASY crop top
I agree with laynie because you would have both things
I think so ,too!
By the laptop any of family can buy you new clothes plus you can get super cheap clothes anywhere as long as it not claries that store is like exspensive
Try shopping at thrift stores and garage sales in the area, for cute used stuff. Also you can find accessories to switch up your old clothes, sparkly stuff or whatever. I have lots of great ideas so just reply and I’ll give you even more(I’m in a rush right now). hope this helps
p.s. I’m always on a tight budget for cute clothes.
alright thank you
Well, you can get cloths super cheap at Wal-Mart or Target. To make your clothes look like a new shirt, wash it and the add ruffles at the bottem!
first you get the laptop and then get the cloths
lol
I say you could up cycle your old cloths into something new. Up cycling is turning your old cloths into something new.you could also get cloths from the thrift shop. Bye ~Mj
I think you should create two separate piles of money one with money for clothes and another for laptop money
I’m saving for a laptop too! Oh, shop at thrift stores! Extremely cheap. A big portion of my closet is thrift store stuff!
I have a few suggestions : D first, do you have an old shirt or bottoms that you like, but it just doesn’t fit? Have an top that fits, but u just need something to make it cuter? Cut out shapes in the old clothing that doesn’t fit, either sew on or glue on the shape onto the top. Tada! Also, I like to make necklaces and rings and bracelets and anklets out of yarn! A cute idea is choose a color of yarn, wrap it around your fingers till there’s nothing left, slip it off, hold the middle of it, tie a piece of the same color really tight. Take a bigger piece of yarn, and keep on wrapping that piece. Tie it. Take a bobby pin, slide one of the things holding the bow in place. Another idea is take a few pieces that fit around your neck, each bigger then the other, tape them together. Tape on the bow to the side. Beautiful necklace
. Anther idea is make a piece of string that fits around your finger, or three that u can braid. Tape it together and make it be able to fit on ur finger. Tape on the bow. Just be creative
Go on youtube to learn to recycle old clothes and make them really cute. Good Luck!!
Clothes are so exspensive these days but maybe if you save a little of your allowance every week (I don’t have an allowance i only have my Tooth Fairy money whole 7$ and counting) and if you know how to sew decoratly then you can turn an old shirt (Or pants, leggings,ETC) into something new besides i’m sure ther are some DIY things on this site
save for lap top and on the computer to shop for more close
I would go to a nearby thrift shop and get some old clothes and mix it with some clothes you all ready have.
AG Mag has great ideas on how to DIY old clothes (like old jeans/long pants into shorts, old long sleeve shirts into cardigans, that kind of thing). Also, Target, Lands End and Sears all have cute clothes for pretty cheap. Hope you find some good stuff!
You should look for clothes that aren’t very much money and sew them into somthing new.
I know that EBAY is sometimes a good place to look. If when you purchase an item, when it comes, it sometimes can be tarnished or harshly used. If so, try to send it back to the user. P.S. I don’t have an EBAY account, but I know this info cause my dad has an account. Hope this tip helped! If not, I will try to help you ASAP. Thanks!!!!
Nice folds
Watch the “How to make a of-the-shoulder-crop-top” video. It shows you how to make one out of a old t-shirt.WOO-HOO!First one to comment! BTW,look for the fpgirl.com version.

Do It Yourself.

Hi Chloe!! ( my name is chloee 2 but spelled different haha) So you can get clothes at thrift shops and stuff, and you can make them all cute by hot gluing rinstones or if the clothing is too big for you you can make it smaller by cutting off the excess and then use that to make a flower or bow 2 glue onto the pieice of clothing!! I have a denium tuerquoise jacket that was too big so i cut some parts off and made a really cute flower with a rindstone and glued it on!! Or u could even put a clip ont the flower and wear it with the shirt or whatever the piece of clothing is!! Well I hoped I helped!!!:0:):):)::):):):):)
use markers
hope i mean
