We’ve had other style showdowns, like hats vs. earmuffs and mittens vs. gloves. Now it’s time to talk headbands vs. hair clips.
Oh, yeah!! Let’s get to it!!
Headbands – pros
Perfect for securing hair away from your face
Lots of cool looks and styles
Can be worn with a variety of hair lengths, but works best with longer hair
Headbands – cons
Headbands don’t always work great with really short do’s
The ones made out of plastic can break and are harder to pack (no slipping into your pockets!)
Hair clips – pros
Even more styles and looks than headbands
Works well with all hair types
Travels awesome
Hair clips – cons
Hair clips are more about decoration rather than securing hair away from the face (headbands and elastics might work better, especially with longer hair)
Somehow, they’re easier to lose (why is that???)

i really don’t like hair clips or headbandzs. not a lot of headbands or hair clips fit me

Both of them are awesome. I have long hair so headbands rock but curly hair has to be kept up too. So its fun to wear both!

I have really, really, really, really, really, really, thick hair and if I wear a headband its like a lightning bolt hit my head and its cra cra! so I like the looks of high messy buns with a big coloured flower bow! (which r found @ DollarStore/DollarTree! hope it helps!!!

I hate headbands especially the poky ones they hurt my head! :(!!! And headbands make my head itch and they hurt my ears after a while. With hair clips they don’t hurt and they’re stylish!

I like the look of both,but i think headbands are way more comfortable but i own both.
SEEEEEEEEEEE?!?!?!?!? FINALLY I come across a comment that supports headbands. Another pro of headbands; keep hair out of face. Another con of clips; they don’t. Therefore- headbands win in my book.

Sometimes, my head hurts when i wear a headband. So, i choose hair clips.

I used to have hair clips but they got tangled in my hair so I gave head bands a try and I liked them much
better and I think they are more stylish
I just LOVE clips because you can style anyway you want, then to hold it in you use a clip! Plus they can have a great design to match and clothing! Anyway the headbands can get lost easily. Like I get really hot, so I take them out for minute to cool off then i look for it and it’s gone. I think it’s because they are light, but what do I know? {( What i do know is i don’t even get hot!

try wrapping a full paper towel in cloth, and clip the extra’s on the flat sides with hair clips. it is totes cute, and it gives you storage space for both accessories!

A) i have longer hair
B) they are easier to travel with. (i usually leave for school with, like, a head band, a hair clip, and, like, 10 hair bands. i change styles a lot
C) if i have them with me but am not using them at the moment, i can just double or triple them and slide them onto my wrist, just like a bracelet!
