Step1: make a ponytail
Step2: pull your hair so there’s a hole from your head to your ponytail holder
Step3: take the rest of your ponytail and flip it in to the hole.

how do make a braid bun?!
there are different types… well to me. I like to do a ponytail then braid it and then wrap your hair in a bun
or you can do it like #3, but leave a strand out the braid the strand and wrap it around the bun
