Hi girls! I was searching the internet when I found this great blog! I looked around the site and found a cute bedroom pic! It was her daughter’s bedroom and I thought it was totally awesome! So now that I am inspired, I am going to share a few tips with you….
1. Try going for bright colors when decorating your room. It’s OK to add a few dark colors, but if everything is dark it will feel uninviting and feel like your locked in a dark place.
2. If you have a hobby; like sewing, knitting, reading, searching the internet — anything really, then find a place in your room to dedicate for doing that.
3. A lot of girls are now adding pictures to their rooms and pattern floors. You can go to an artist and ask them to paint a colored portrait of you. Also you can go to your local interior designer (or you can try this yourself!) and ask if they can put in pattern carpeting or flooring.
4. Just be creative and you!

i don’t really like the room it is just not my type. the carpet clashes with the bed spread wich clashes with the walls, who agrees?

i moved into my new house last year three of my walls are a turquise colure but i havent painted the other wall yet what colure should i paint it !!! also could you maybe put up something like cheap ways to decorate your room that would be even better thanks !!
Oh, turquoise is my fave color! Hmm…. I would say to paint it the same turquoise as the other three walls or maybe paint it a bright color like orange. If you do happen to paint it a different color, then be sure to put a desk and/or mirror on that side of the room because being a different color, it needs something to make it look like it belongs. Or, even put your bed in front of the orange wall! That is a great idea, elmogirl, about writing a post about decorating your room for cheap. I will try my best!!

Here’s an idea how about you go online to a catalogue and pick out some things you want calculate the budget then sell some of the old things you don’t want any more and try to make the budget and if you don’t try to do community jobs like dog walking or babysitting then spend the money but always remember to ask your parents before you ever decide to do anything

Secretkey, if you don’t like the color, ask your parents if they can help you get it painted. Also, you can always decorate it with posters, or pictures, and a bulletin board is always a nice touch to a room.

One lime green wall with a window, hot pink curtains, bed underneath, black and white floral bedspread, lime and pink accessories, pink walls, and I get my own walk in closet!!!!! Sweet huh! Love the article!

Awesome! I’ve been needing to redecorate, I haven’t sinc I was like three!! So for now I have white pink walls, canopy bed with tinker bell o_o. Anyway I do have a space for drawing, a bin holding art stuff ( it works for an table :p ) and I made a decoupage bucket out of magizine clippings and I use it to hold my scissors, tape, and colr pencils. Then I rest it on a decoupage BOX holding stuff like paint brushes
and I have this little table like things where I put stuff to help Me draw: graphs ( little clear sheets with boxes that u put a reference photo underneath, then u just draw th shapes u see in the boxes 
) glue, referance photos, tape and viewfinder ( a black peace of black construction paper with a rectangle cut out of the middle, u can put them on what u wanna draw that’s in magazines, so the hole makes ur eye go to the part u wan to draw. ) s ya. Then I have a radion near the middle of my room and a big space to dance

I know! So cute! I have a zebra bedroom and it looks really good! Almost every zebra bedroom I’ve seen has dark colors, and yes, mine has dark colors too. But the sky blue paint on my walls make my room look bright and welcoming. I also have a space where I read and search the net. I also have a space where I sew. I’m glad I have a computer so I can work on my blog. Maybe I can share it with you girls sometime.
