Create a Runway

Create a runway for your fashionistas to strut their designs down. Party guests will have so much fun feeling like a star on the runway and will love showing off their very own fashion designs!

 

What you’ll need:

  • -A roll of colorful plastic table cover
  • -Scissors
  • -Tape
  • -Christmas lights (optional)
  • -Flashlights (optional)
  • -Upbeat music (optional)
  • -Karaoke machine (optional)
 

How to do it:

  • 1. Roll out your colorful table cover and cut to your desired runway length.
  • 2. Set the table cloths into a ‘T’ shape (like a runway) and tape it to the floor.
  • 3. Once taped at both ends, smooth out to make sure there are as few wrinkles as possible.
  • 4. To add glamor to your runway line the sides with bright white christmas lights
  • 5. Use flashlights as spotlights. Girls can take turns giving each model her spotlight
  • 6. Play fun upbeat music for the girls to walk down the runway to. Fun music by their favorite artist will inspire them to work the runway and strike fierce poses at the end of the catwalk
  • 7. As MC (Master of Ceremonies) use a karaoke machine to announce each model and describe her FABULOUS outfit!
 

Hints:

  • -To make sure the runway is safely secured, try taping it down on every side.
  • -Set up plenty of seating for your audience. If you’re holding a competition, include three extra seats up front for the judge panel (and don’t forget to give them score cards from 1-10).
