Ingredients:

6 tablespoons of unsalted butter
½ teaspoon kosher salt
1 cup all-purpose flour
½ cup Nutella
2 large eggs
1 large egg yolk
½ cup water

Step 1:

It’s important to use a nonstick pan for this part because you don’t anything sticky staying on. Turn the stove onto medium heat and then melt the butter into the pan. Once it’s melted, keep cooking the butter until it has acquired a golden-brown color. You might want to stop when the butter is more of a golden color because even after you’ve turned the stove off, the heat will keep roasting the butter.

Step 2:

Ready the eggs, water, milk, salt and egg yolk and then gently whisk them together in a bowl. Try not to let any egg shells fall in or you’ll be in for a crunchy surprise later. Next, slowly add the flour to the bowl and whisk until the entire mixture is silky smooth. If there any stubborn lumps, you can crush them with a spoon or strain the blend.

Step 3:

Clean out the nonstick pan you used to melt the butter and set it over medium heat again. Using a ⅓ cup scoop or large spoon, pour the batter into the center of the pan. Using circular motions of the wrist, swirl the batter out from the center and into the edges of the pan and in this case, the thinner the better. Then return the pan to heat and let it cook for 2-3 minutes. Use a rubber spatula to lift up the edges and to flip it onto its other side and let it cook for about 30 seconds to a minute or longer. It depends on how golden you want the crepe to turn out.

Step 4:
Once the crepe has finished cooking, slide it out onto a plate and spread about a tablespoon (or more if you want) of nutella on it. Fold the crepe into quarters or simply roll it up and then garnish with your favorite toppings. Sugar, strawberries, chocolate syrup, you can put them on and then enjoy!
