Now let’s get started!

Materials:

Any jar will do!
Acrylic paint (your favorite color(s)
Paint brushes
Paper plate
Paper (colored, plain, or notebook, you choose!)
Scissors
Optional: Glitter, bows, ribbon, stickers
Newspaper to keep things tidy

Directions:

Layer a generous amount of newspaper on a flat and steady surface to be your work space.

Squeeze the paint out onto your paper plate, this will be your painters palette!

Paint your jar with whatever design makes your heart happy, and if you’re using glitter, sprinkle it on after you finish your design and when it’s still wet so that it sticks!

When your jar is looking fabulous, set aside to dry overnight.

After the jar is finished drying, feel free to attach bows, ribbon, or stickers to give it a little something extra!

Write down positive thoughts, happy moments, compliments, and jokes, then fold them up and drop them into your inspiration jar for safe keeping. When you’re feeling a bit down or missing summer you can use these as little reminders to pep you back up!
