This week our inspirational woman is none other than the First Lady Michelle Obama! She has spent her time in the white house working to promote health and empowerment for young people, especially young women! She recently gave a speech where she talked about the importance of education for young women.

She is incredibly driven and wants young women to understand that they are powerful and intelligent first and foremost. The First Lady discussed how during our time spent in school sometimes we can be distracted by boys, drama, cliques and many other things. However she believes that none of those things are a good enough reason to let your education suffer. If you believe that you are a strong, beautiful, and intelligent young woman than that is what matters!
